FairPlay is back for Round 11 and we’ve changed the game!
Round 11 of the FairPlay vouchers program is now open, offering up to up to $200 to cover the costs of participating in sport and active recreation.
This initiative, part of the Activate! Queensland 2019-2029 strategy, encourages Queensland kids to get active, by breaking down financial barriers of participation.
Vouchers this round are valid for one year, meaning families can apply for both winter and summer activities from 1 July. We’ve also increased the eligibility, with up to 150,000 vouchers open to all eligible Queensland children, and up to 50,000 reserved for those with valid Health Care or Pensioner Concession Cards.
With more vouchers available than ever before this round, we’re calling all eligible Queensland sport and active recreation clubs to register as FairPlay activity providers to help more kids get active. Registration is simple and can help boost participation rates, as well as drawing more members to your club.
Professionals who work with children are invited to become FairPlay referral agents to help families experiencing genuine financial difficulty to access vouchers to stay active and healthy.
Parents will have until 6 June 2025 to redeem vouchers with a registered activity provider.
